St Petroc's Church

We carry with us 1500 years of faith here in Bodmin, with our links to the priory, friary and the monks of old. Our 15th century church is full of stories and memories to inspire. Visit the reliquary of St Petroc and the pre-reformation tomb of Prior Vyvyan. We remain active in the community and provide space for concerts, events and groups and welcome people for their family or civic celebrations. Come to visit, pray and discover our heritage. The church is open daily.

Lanhydrock

A 5 minute drive, or 40 minute walk from the museum, this country house, gives an insight in to the ‘upstairs downstairs’ nature of Victorian life, with kitchens and servants quarters, and formal dining and living areas. There’s also a beautiful formal garden, as well as a large estate.
