Marketing Manager

Bodmin Keep-Cornwall’s Army Museum is looking for a great communicator with strong copywriting and content creation skills, who’s looking to take the next step in their marketing career in the cultural sector.The role will involve working closely with the museum team to promote Bodmin Keep and its programme of activities, events and exhibitions; developing and delivering marketing communications to attract visitors and locals alike and connect audiences to the museum and its charitable objectives.

Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of marketing communications, you’ll deliver integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned media to meet our income targets. You’ll have fresh ideas and the communication, organisation, and technical skills to bring them to life. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make their mark during an exciting period of development for the organisation.  

This is a full-time position, based at Bodmin Keep. Hybrid working by arrangement with minimum 3 days per week at the office.

Our aim is to educate, entertain and inspire a broad range of people of all ages. We have a vision to be the leading military museum in Cornwall for the preservation and promotion of the county’s and the nation’s military heritage. We also aim to make a real contribution to the wellbeing and economy of our local community and county, and to our military family.

We are looking for some new Trustees to join our Board and help us to fulfil these aims and aspirations.  The Trustee role can be very rewarding and enjoyable offering an opportunity to serve the community whilst learning new skills.  The Trustees role is to focus on the strategic direction of the charity and to ensure effectiveness and accountability.  We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are excited about our work and can bring relevant experience/knowledge of the heritage sector, veterans, volunteering, managing finances, income generation or visitor services.    For further information about us and how to apply, please download our Information Pack.
